If Earth Had Rings

First off, they would be really pretty to look at. They would also dominate the sky in both night and day at exactly the same place as they would never rise nor set. And at night you would see the Earth’s shadow swing across the rings, like in the 4th photo here.

However, life would be very different on Earth if this were the case. Nocturnal animals would have a hard time being nocturnal, as the light reflecting from the rings would illuminate the night.

Because we are closer to the Sun than Saturn is, the rings would be more rocky than ice, making them less bright but still pretty bright. In fact, you would see far less stars at night (living anywhere other than the equator or the arctic circle) because of the light pollution and not to mention ruin most meteor showers because of that.

During the day the rings would block sunlight in certain regions of the planet creating wild weather cycles and effecting plant life as well. So basically, they would be definitely pretty to look at but they would also make a whole lot of things screwy.

There are soo many girls out there who is soo uncomfortable with their body. and I’m going to tell you this. STOP!! You were made this way. You were made to look thin or thick. Does it matter? NO! You should love yourself and love your body. When I was little I was a skinny child. A VERY skinny child and you know what? I got made fun for being too skinny. In fifth grade I hit puberty and I started gaining weight. Because, I was developing into a woman. I started getting made fun of then. and then in high school. I hit my breaking point. At the end of my high school year I weight 314 pounds. Yikes, I was ashamed that I let my body get that big. but it happened for a reason. I was being stressed out by work and school that all I ever did was eat! And that’s not a bad thing. I was getting called “Fat” “Lard ass” “Butter face” “fat emo kid” Anything you could think of I was called it, then my beautiful best friend Jessica told me that i needed to love myself no matter what I looked like or how much I weighed because I was beautiful. It was hard for me to accept so I kept trying to think positive, then my now fifteen year old step sister convinced me when she was thirteen to go to the lake and wear a two piece, I was scared but I did it. and the more I did it, the more happy I became with myself. and Then I met Michael who is now my fiance’ I tell him that I want to loose weight all the time and he gets so mad at me! He tells me that I am beautiful and I shouldn’t give two shits what other people think about me. because they are jealous. and then I meet my friend Chriss’s mother Martha. Goodness she is the most amazing woman in the world! Still to this day this woman tells me to embrace my curves and by god I DO! I love my legs, I love my stretch marks, I love my big boobs, I love my mediocre ass, and I love my plus size beautiful me. And now after two years from being out of school I have lost. ninety-four to one hundred-twenty-five pounds. and this is what I look like now. I have never felt better. If you have problems with your weight or if you’re that self conscious. Message me, and I will help you see that you are beautiful. I finally come to that point, when I think, I am lovely, nice, crazy, compassioned, and beautiful in my very own way. And I like that way.
